1967年，Jake Holmes 曾擔任 The Yardbirds 的暖場歌手，並演唱了這首 Dazed And Confused。The Yardbirds 聽了後很喜歡，決定要翻唱，後來於1968年的紐約演唱會表演過。演唱會專輯則在1971年發行。

不確定當時 The Yardbirds 在唱片裡如何註明這首歌的創作人。當時 The Yardbirds 的吉他手已是 Jimmy Page，播出的影片中 Jimmy Page 已經用小提琴弓拉電吉他了！
