John Mayall 是藍調搖滾界大前輩，他於1963年組成 The Bluesbreakers，這團孕育了不少搖滾界名人。

小弟弟 Jack Bruce (比 John 小10歲) 在約1965~1966年間曾短暫加入 The Bluesbreakers。另一位小弟弟 Eric Clapton (比 John 小12歲) 於1965年加入 The Bluesbreakers，一年後離開，找了 Jack Bruce 及 Ginger Baker 另組 Cream，開啟輝煌的搖滾生涯。

Peter Green，Mick Fleetwood 及 John McVie 三人都曾加入 The Bluesbreakers，離團後三人另組 Fleetwood Mac。

Mick Taylor 離開 The Bluesbreakers 後曾加入 The Rolling Stones。

Aynsley Dunbar 離開 The Bluesbreakers 後曾加入 Frank Zappa。

這張 I'm Your Witchdoctor 單曲的製作人是另一位小弟弟 Jimmy Page (比 John 小11歲)，他從不曾是 The Bluesbreakers 的團員。Jimmy Page 後來是搖滾皇帝 Led Zeppelin 的團長，大牌的咧！

瞧，John Mayall 真是老前輩啊，1933年出生，84歲了，現在還在巡迴演出，老當益壯！
